What to expect.
Life Imaging delivers life-saving results with a safe, non-invasive scan that takes less than 10 minutes.
1. Before Your Scan
- No fasting necessary. You can eat, and drink as normal
- We recommend that you arrive 15 minutes early to check in with your patient advocte
- During intake, provide a basic family history to be discussed with your patient advocate during your visit
2. During Your Scan
- You will remain fully dressed for the 5-10 minute scan
- Our open halo CT scanners make for a pleasant, non-claustrophobic experience
- Unlike MRIs, our quiet scanner does not use loud magnetic resonance, so you will be comfortable during the entire experience

3. After Your Scan
- Full body scan patients will receive an exit packet, including a disc with about 900 images of your body
- Within 24-48 hours, you will receive a full report via email once the evaluation is complete
- We will call to discuss any concerning findings (e.g. a 100+ calcium score) and you may share your results with your primary care physician or cardiologist at your discretion
